Two Suspects Killed in Shootout with Police in KwaMashu
Two suspects were killed in a gun battle with police in KwaMashu, KZN, after opening fire during an early morning raid. One officer was wounded but remains in stable condition.

KwaMashu, KZN – Two suspects have been killed in an early morning shootout with police in B Section, KwaMashu.
According to information shared by eNCA’s Dasen Thathiah, the confrontation unfolded as a team of officers followed up on leads linked to recent armed robberies in the area.
When police approached the suspected hideout, the men allegedly opened fire, striking and wounding one officer. In the ensuing gun battle, both suspects were fatally shot.
The injured policeman is reported to be in a stable condition. Authorities have not yet released the identities of the suspects, and investigations into the incident continue.
