Fans of the popular comedy act Bantweey’s Gone Wild have been left disappointed after the Podcast and Chill Network announced the cancellation of the final leg of the tour, which was scheduled to take place in Mahikeng this coming weekend.
In a statement released on Monday, the organisers said the decision followed “careful consideration and thorough discussions” with hosts, sponsors, and other key stakeholders.

“This decision was not made lightly. After extensive discussions, it became clear that moving forward with the show was no longer possible,” the statement read.
The cancellation affects ticket holders who had been anticipating the highly publicised comedy performance. However, organisers confirmed that all tickets purchased through Quicket will be fully refunded within seven to ten business days. Refunds will be processed automatically back to the original payment method.

While the Mahikeng event will no longer take place, the Podcast and Chill Network assured fans that this is not the end for the Bantweey crew. The group is expected to announce new shows in other cities in the near future.
“Despite this setback, the Bantweey’s journey isn’t over. New shows and performances are already being planned, and we can’t wait to bring the energy to a city near you soon,” the organisers added.

The Bantweey’s shows have grown a loyal fan base across South Africa for their mix of humour, satire, and relatable storytelling. The cancellation is the first major disruption in their tour schedule.
For now, fans are encouraged to keep an eye on official Podcast and Chill Network platforms for further updates on upcoming performances.
